Last night, Patsy Beattie-Huggan was interviewed on Compass, CBC News in PEI.
She spoke about the Atlantic Summer Institute on Healthy and Safe Communities and the Aviva Community Fund contest, which the ASI has entered with the hope of publicity and possible funding.
The competition could result in positive change in communities across Canada. Ideas which receive enough votes will have a chance at sharing in $500,000 of funding from Aviva Insurance. The Quaich Inc. coordinates the Atlantic Summer Institute on Healthy and Safe Communities each year, which brings together people from many different sectors to explore issues critical to developing and sustaining healthy communities.
