Circle of Health Facilitator Training Sep 29 - 30, 2009
A two-day training in facilitating with the Circle of Health is being held at Belcourt Centre in Rustico, Prince Edward Island on September 29 & 30, 2009. The workshop will draw on competencies and activities outlined in the prototype Circle of Health Facilitator’s Handbook developed by The Quaich.
Participants will be prepared to: 1. Facilitate groups using the Circle of Health 2. Provide technical support for Internet facilitation (optional)
The sessions are based on adult learning principles and are interactive providing opportunities for new learning, sharing of experience, networking and feedback from peers and workshop facilitators. Prior to the workshop, participants will complete a self assessment of facilitation skills and learning styles which will be built upon during the workshop.
